Restaurant Rolodex: Restaurants We’re Psyched to Hit Up This Restaurant Week

Some people are Restaurant Week haters (see: restaurants and people who own them/work at them), but we kind of love the biannual NYC tradition. It gives us the freedom to try new places with a little less pressure on the purse, and to indulge in our favorite decadent spots with a little less guilt. This year’s Restaurant Week has just begun and will go ‘til February 5th. Here are the places we were psyched to see on the list.

ABC Cocina
38 E. 19th St. NY, NY 1003
www.abchome.com

Always one of our faves, why not pay ‘em a resto week visit and also check out what’s left on sale.

American Cut
363 Greenwich St. NY, NY 10013
www.americancutsteakhouse.com

NYC may not seem like it needed a new steakhouse. But once you hit up Marc Forgione’s newest (and the everything biscuits), you might change your mind.

Benchmark Restaurant
339A 2nd St. Brooklyn, NY 11215
www.benchmarkrestaurant.com

Park Slope’s Benchmark has been around for awhile for good reason. This American restaurant has consistently delicious food that is both locally and organically sourced.

The Cecil
210 W. 118th St. NY, NY, 10026
www.thececilharlem.com

This seems like a good opportunity to visit the restaurant that was voted the country’s best new restaurant in 2014, no?

Estiatorio Milos
125 W. 55th St. NY, NY 10019
http://milos.ca/restaurants/new-york

Possibly our favorite fancy restaurant in NYC (tzatziki!), but also one we may never be able to afford, save for Restaurant Week. We might go every day.

Il Mulino Trattoria
36 E. 20th St. NY, NY 10003
www.trattoriailmulino.com

Another NYC classic that can do some damage on our bank account. This is the perfect week to take someone special, since we know you’ve been promising.

Khe-Yo
157 Duane St. NY, NY 10013
www.kheyo.com

NYC’s first Laotian restaurant that lots of people are loving.

Lure Fishbar
142 Mercer St. NY, NY 10012

www.lurefishbar.com

We just don’t get sick of it here. So we may as well go for the prix fixe and hope like hell that the tuna with crispy rice is on it.

Nobu Next Door
105 Hudson St. NY, NY 10013
www.noburestaurants.com

Their sushi and Wagyu Beef never disappoint and it’s perfect for date night. Especially at these prices.

Noreetuh
128 1st Ave. NY, NY, 10009
www.noreetuh.com

The hyped about Hawaiian place we still haven’t made it to.

Park Avenue Winter
360 Park Ave. South NY, NY 10010
www.parkavenyc.com

So pretty. So yummy. So prix fixe.
