Under the Radar: Cards by Tay Ham

We at #FAT are stationary addicts. We love personalized notepads to jot our (brilliant) thoughts down on (self-centered? Eh.). We love a box full of cards in the closet, just waiting for the perfect occasion. We LOVE receiving mail with handwriting and a stamp and maybe some stickers on the envelope. We believe that handwritten thank you notes are a MUST, but that they’re not the only reason that stationary and a box chocked full of fabulous cards have a place in your teensy apt. Because let’s get real: Wouldn’t you love it if a friend dropped you line by way of a handwritten card? Wouldn’t it be just like sleepaway camp, when your name was called on the package list, and you were so so so excited, but without the part where you opened it and it was your inhaler and not the giant bag of candy you’d promised your cabinmates was incoming? It would be!

Tay Ham’s line of cards full of fun pop-culture references and pretty painted designs, they are destined to make any recipient smile, laugh, and feel loved. They really require no reason to send. And isn’t that what we’re here for, people? To make our loved ones feel loved?

It’s hard for us to pick faves from this line, but the Tanya Harding card that reads “Break a Leg” is up there, as is the Jessie Spano card that says, “I’m So Excited!”. There are so many gems that we’ll leave it to you. We’ll just say this: Drop a line. Your friends will love it.
