Suprema Provisions: A Taste Bud Trip to Italy AKA a Place to Eat and Shop at the Same Time

New York, we love you. Let us count the ways: You never sleep, you host the craziest and kookiest, you are a place where dogs wear shoes on the regs. There are so many reasons that NYC is the bomb.com, but one of them is that there are always discoveries to be made in the way of new food shops and culinary experiences, often providing a momentary taste-bud trip to another land. One of our fave places to tastebud travel? Italy. So we were happy to stumble on Suprema Provisions — a quaint little NYC wine bar, salumeria and specialty Italian food shop. The West Village storefront is unassuming, adorable, and the perfect place to grab a glass of rosso, snack on a meat board, and then pick up some goods to go: Think gourmet pasta, tableware, rolling pins, cookbooks, and kitchen accessories.

We’ll be heading to Suprema Provisions on many a Sunday afternoon to nosh on some burrata, and grab some yums to whip up a comforting, Sunday-scary preventative, gourmet-ingredient-containing Italian meal.

So move over Nonna, there’s a new Italian chef in town. (Get it? It’s us!)
