#FAT Links, Likes, and Loves: What Lizzie & Katie are Buying, Reading, and Eating This Month
Does it ever feel like the internet is so big that, no matter how many wormholes you go down Alice-style without EVER getting to your work, you may NEVER see all that you want to see? We love when a friend tips us on to a great article, new recipe, or splurgable item. And so WE thought, why not share what we’ve been linking and liking lately? Here, a look into our internet history. Not pictured: “When does Ladies of London come back?”, “How to style your baby in a chef’s costume”, “If it tits in one glass, it’s a glass of wine, right?” and “Can looking at pictures of food make you fat?”
What Lizzie’s Lovin’
To Read: This amazing (and relatable… to a shopping addict) story by David Sedaris.
To Buy: This birdcage which will house not birds, but cheese! Or bananas. Or something.
To Wear: Loving that this is appropriate to leave the house in… and not for a boxing match that I’m competing in. Tracksuits 4 LYFE.
And these shoes, which I own, but do not know how to wear, so can someone please help?
And I thought, this, until I put it on and realized that I looked like a clown, the kind from “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”:
To Make: Really want to get in on these.
To Eat: My fave bowl-filler for parties. Tiny little truffle popcorn.
To Go: Loved Upholstery Store for its laid back vibe, quirky décor, funny drink names, and DELICIOUS octopus.
What Katie’s Lovin’
To Eat: What is sure to be the next chicken craze, The Fuku Fingers Crunchy Wrap from our two fave Asian chefs, David Chang (Momofuko) and David Bowien (Mission Cantina).
For my in-laws on Passover. Pretty Chocolate Frogs = Best daughter in law ever.
To Make: It’s ramp season! That means bringing back some of these ramp recipes.
To Go: For some major design inspo check out the Sotheby’s Designer Showcase. Art, antiques, and interior design come together at Sotheby’s designer townhouse where interior designers from around the world use Sotheby’s own furniture and art departments to create different worlds of design and style.
To Wear: These chokers: Because chokers are edgy, sexy and pretty, and can make almost any outfit a little more (TLC voice) crazy, sexy, cool .
To Read: This article because I love getting an inside look into the life of crazy cool chicks, like Chloé’s creative director, Clare Waight Keller. #Girlboss
To Buy: Mary Katrantzou can do no wrong, especially when she is re-making these Adidas Superstar 80s. Because you can never have too many pairs of sneakers.
…and these, in bulk, because it’s time to start partying outdoors and there is always a need for new glassware, especially at this price.
