In Session: Fall Classes in NYC
Admit it: Sometimes you miss that back to school feeling. When the temps get crisper, and maybe you’ve grown a smidge bored of laying out, there’s nothing a like a goal or learning a new skill to rev you back up. Here, we’ve rounded up some classes to satisfy your school-girl, straight A student itch, with classes that are even more fun than those of our younger years. It’s not that we didn’t love algebra (well, it is…) but learning how to make Thai street food seems more exciting at than memorizing the complex conjugate root theorem.
Dance Class: Banana Skirt Productions
Are you one of those people who’s always regretting not being in Mickey Mouse Club and then missing out on your opportunity to be a pop star? US TOO. Banana Skirt Productions totes understands. In each class you learn a different dance straight from a music video, so while you’re burning cals you can also look at yourself in the mirror and confirm that, yeah, you totally could have been Britney.

Extracurricular: NY School of Burlesque
Sometimes you just want to feel a little naughty. Or maybe you just need to break out of your comfort zone. Maybe you just need to shake what your mama gave you. This school has weekly classes that introduce you to the world of burlesque, so you can learn a thing or two about bumping, grinding, and shimmying. If nothing else, you’ll burn some cals and probably have a good laugh.
