Restaurant Style: Stealing French Swag from The Nomad

When we love a restaurant, we usually want to copy a lot of things about it. We ask the waiter about each element of our cocktail, hoping to recreate it at home, we try to determine what ingredient makes our fave dish so delish, desperate to bring a little of the magic back home with us. But the other thing we love about our very favorite restaurants is their style. So we figure: Why not steal some of that, too?

The first restaurant we’re taking style tips from is the Nomad Hotel, which Jacques Garcia decked out in Parisian-influenced elegance that feels at once timeless, elegant, sexy, and a little dangerous. As we sit in the Elephant Bar, we feel like world travelers, our martini just the beginning of a night that may end anywhere (Hopefully Paris?).

So here are some ways to bring that smoky hotel feeling home without buying a Paris pied-à-terre (although we’d take that, too).
