Let Us Live Here: Beam, The Williamsburg Home Decor Store You Need in Your Life

Leave it to a couple of New Yorkers to provide us with an answer to our shopping prayers. Enter Baem, the magical Williamsburg home decor store with a curated selection of goods that mixes high and low, wacky and refined, and packs tons of colorful punch.

Those New Yorkers, Ali and Greg, opened the store in 2013 because of a shared love for art and design. They’ve recently expanded the space this year to include custom furniture, design services, and even more real estate for their ever-changing selection of home decor, tableware, and other fab items that you need, but didn’t know it until now (Hello, inspirational signs for Fete-a-Tete HQ).

Beam’s “We don’t take ourselves too seriously” vibe and sick product selection mean it’s a decorating, updating, and gifting paradise. There, we found our beloved Seletti hybrid china, Tom Dixon barware, and Finell tableware, alongside local artisans’ ceramics, glassware, and home accessories. The Beam team is constantly updating what’s in store, so there’s always something new to discover. This Saturday, we’re heading back down to Kent Ave. to find out what’s new at Beam to grab a set of the marbleized ceramic dinner plates. We’re sure that we’ll walk out with our besty’s birthday gift, something to keep in our “hostess gift drawer”, and a desire to redecorate our entire apartment.
