#FAT Links, Likes, and Loves: What Lizzie and Katie are Buying, Reading, and Eating this Month
Here you go: This month’s installment of what we’re consuming this month. Food wise, brain wise, and otherwise. This month marks the first month that we’re confident we’ll be spending some time outdoors, so we’re thinking of cute clothes that people might actually see, traveling in style, eating al fresco, and using appliances that we’ve owned for many moons.
Lizzie Will Be….
Reading: When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi to make me appreciate the value of life. The Waldorf Astoria Bar Book to make sure I can properly toast and cheers to the value of life. The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up because I still haven’t read it and am sure it is either going to save or (more likely) RUIN my life. Zero K by Don DeLillo because, well, he’s Don DeLillo.
Buying: A weekend bag that makes me look super chill and like I travel on trains a lot… but that will probably only fit my makeup.
Wearing: Sort of wanting all of the wide leg jumpsuits which make me feel like a child, and also a farmer, and also like I’m in pajamas. All of these are good feelings.

And a great pair of Cat-Eye Sunglasses
Making: Trying to learn to use my Vitamix, and really into this Ricotta Kalamata Dip.
Eating: Nuts from William Poll, which are so salty I usually can’t wear clothing after, and yet, it totally feels worth it. And to drink: Do you know about Hint Water? It can’t be described until you try it. It truly is water with just a HINT of flavor. Unclear how they do it. Also unclear why it’s so good. But it is. And now that it’s not one degree outside, cold beverages are way more appealing. My fave flavor is cucumber.
Going: To Hudson River Park to ride my Schwinn Debutante pink bike with tassles, which makes everyone around me think that I am very large for a twelve year old.
Katie Will Be…
Eating: Date night at Ryan Hardy’s (Charlie Bird) new Soho Italian spot, Pasquale Jones. The pizza and pasta are simple and interesting and reservations are hard to come by.
Making: Grilled Pizzas. It’s finally grilling season and all I want to do is grill up pizzas made from Roberta’s pizza dough, endless amounts of toppings, and of course, drinking a rose spritz. Make your own grilled pizza = my go-to entertaining dish for the summer.
Wearing: Channeling my inner flower child with a floral garden party dress that can go from fancy uptown brunch to another champagne filled bridal shower and an outdoor summertime wedding.

Going: The always fabulous Costume Institute’s Spring Exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is finally open. Manus x Machina opened last week after The Met Ball had us all waiting to see what Queen B would wear post Lemonade launch.
Buying: Thanks to Cara, brows have become all the rage, and Glossier can help even the over plucked ladies.
