Do you remember? The 21st night of September? Earth, Wind & Fire may have had a fave night in September, but we like all of ’em. And the days, too. There’s something so crispy and fresh about NYC. Fall feels like a time for new goals, new hobbies, new experiences, and okay, some new clothes. We love to know what our friends (or celebs we think are our friends) are consuming at any given moment – whether that consumption’s in the form of reading, eating, buying, or listening. To Listen: Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs, because if you only know him as Eli Gold you are about to have your mind blown.
…and Angela McCluskey, who I encountered at her Roxy Sessions residency and who I am now obsessed with.
To Watch: Let’s just admit it. Real Housewives of New Jersey. Okay, and The O.C. But really excited for Author: The J.T. Leroy Story, too.
To Go: Dia:Beacon. This WILL be the Fall that I take a day trip to Beacon, NY for the museum and duh the food.
To Read: Ninety-nine Stories of God by Joy Williams. She can do so much in so few words. This book can be read in one sitting.
To Text: Feels like about time we got some girl power emojis. I will download these (along with the Bravo emojis) once I have enough storage on my phone.
To Eat: Recently obsessed with Hu Kitchen’s Mashbar. Maybe because it has grain free cookie dough croutons that I can pretend are healthy?
To Do: Bullet Journal – if you’re not aware of the cult-like following for the “efficiency system” that may just be a glorified to-do list, I’m here to tell you that I’ve gone down the rabbit-hole, I am lost, and I am in [office supply and sticker] heaven. TBD if it’s making me more efficient.
To Wear: Fur sandals and backpacks. Fur sandals – so dumb! So loveable! Backpacks – really practical. Except when you have 30.

To Eat: I’ll be trying to figure out a way to get back to one of the most under the radar, seriously incredible food experiences in NYC, Blanca.
To Make: I’ll be trying to me picnic-ing happen because fall weather, cute baskets and outdoor entertaining gear, and that end of summer sadness can only be remedied by day drinking on a Saturday. Cooking up new ideas for easy to pack foods and drinks.
To Read: Amy Schumer can do no wrong, especially when recounting the various ways her life went wrong but ended up all right in her new memoir The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo.
To Do: Figure out a way to become a part of Amazon’s crazy cool food TV show/cooking idea. I mean, if someone can figure out how to create a one-click food order service that will coincide with a streaming cooking show, it’s Bezos.
To Buy: Commune x West Elm. The LA based design firm (and SHOP!) that has been a long time favorite for any and everything home design related has teamed up with West Elm for an affordable line of home accessories perfect for final touches and chic updates for your home.
To Watch: Martha Stewart and Snoop Dog Partying Together. Nothing else needs to be explained.
To Wear: Velvet and bodysuits. Whether its both combined or a soft pair of pumps, shorts, or day dress. Cool weather fall dressing can’t get here fast enough.
