Ingredients
  • 4 Tbsp. The Bacon Jams (any flavor)
  • ½ lb. cooked elbow macaroni
  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 4 Tbsp. AP flour
  • 1 ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese + more for topping
  • ½ cup bread crumbs, lightly toasted
  1. Preheat oven to 400° F. Make pasta according to the package directions. Reserve on the side.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt butter. Add in the flour, whisking constantly for 2 minutes. Add in the milk slowly, continuing to whisk for another 2 minutes. Continue to cook on low for 3 more minutes. Add in cheese, allow to melt, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in Bacon Jams. Remove from heat and then add in the pasta.
  4. Transfer to a baking dish, top with bread crumbs, and bake for 20 minutes, until cheese mixture begins to boil. Add on a sprinkle of more cheese and allow to melt, about 5 more minutes.

Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 day. Reheat for 10 minutes before serving.
