The Savvy Spritzer

The wine spritzer is a sunny day’s best bud. It’s the perfect amount of celebration for a daytime BBQ and a light, bubbly beverage before dinner. Lemony and light, this is a savvy (get it?) party pleaser.

Ingredients
  • 1 bottle of Sauvignon Blanc
  • 2 cups Italian lemon soda
  • 1 cup club soda
  • 1 large lemon, thinly sliced and then cut into ¼-inch slices
  • Optional: Ice

  1. In a large pitcher, mix together all ingredients except the lemon slices. Chill until ready to serve.
  2. Slice lemon thinly and then cut into quarters. When ready to serve, put all slices but 6 into the pitcher.
  3. Pour into glasses and then garnish with the lemon quarter. Add ice to tone down intensity.
