Easter Brunch In A Crunch

So, Easter’s crept up on you. All of a sudden it’s here and you’re like (whiney voice): “But I wanted to throw a boozy brunch, buy pretty flowers, shamelessly love pastels, and wear those bunny ears that I never get to wear!” Don’t have a temper tantrum. You can still get into the bunny spirit. Here are some doable-at-the-last-minute looks to make your Sunday a little more eggcellent (We had to).  Hey, and if you can’t get it together, you’ve got our Restaurant Rolodex to provide the perfect alternative to a failed at home brunch party. And you won’t have to do the dishes.

Flowers:  Priscilla recommends opting for poppies in oranges and pinks

Poppies are my go-to flower for Easter. They come in both brights and pastels and work so well on their own in simple glass cylinders or a in variety of containers scattered on the table.

Table Decor: These aren’t the stinky vinegar eggs from your childhood (although actually, we love those). If you want a little update, try these slightly more sophisticated DIY ideas. If you’re not so DIY, just buy these pretty glitter ones from Target. We won’t tell. Click the images for deets.

Serveware: We’re loving the idea of less-expected oranges and whites for our Easter table with some pops of pastels. We like to mix and match colors. We’re not great with commitment. Click through our Goods section for more details.
