Feed Your Friends: Friendsgiving Recipes for a Badass BYO Potluck

It’s like, we blinked, and now it’s Thanksgiving. Maybe it was the Spring-ish weather, or maybe we’re still recovering from Halloween, or maybe we’ve been a little distracted planning a winter wedding (NBD!) and being pregnant (WHAT?!). But distractions will not stop us from celebrating Friendsgiving, our favorite made up holiday and excuse to stuff our faces and knock a few back (sorry, Katie) with our best buds. But we’ve got to make it easy. So this year, we’re hosting a one pot, casserole only Friendsgiving feast — easy breezy and oh-so-yum — before everyone jets off to their family dinner tables for the real deal.

These are some of our favorite fall side dishes, that are easy to make and transport across town. We suggest assigning one to each friend (but maybe just tell your homegirl who reaaaally doesn’t cook to bring some wine). Finish off the meal with an order ahead turkey from Yura, a failsafe UES establishment that’s been a hostess secret for years! Food + Fun + Friendship = Friendsgiving.
